Sign Up for 4-H - Our State's Largest Youth Development Program

4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills and also happens to be Louisiana's largest youth development program. Enrollment has opened for the 2024-25 school year. Parents are asked to work with their child(ren) to help them enroll online.

HOW TO JOIN:
*Visit v2.4honline.com
* Create a family profile
* Enter 4-H member info.
* Select a club, project & completion registration
* Repeat process for other household 4-Hers
* Pay Enrollment Fees to school or 4-H office


CHOOSING A PROJECT:
All 4th graders will choose: Discovering 4-H for 4th Graders
All 5th graders will choose: Discovering 4-H for 5th Graders


Members in 6th-12th grade will be able to select a project focus in one of the following content areas: (Aerospace / Child Development / Citizenship & Character Development / Clothing and Textiles / Communication / Food & Nutrition / Health, Safety, & First Aid / Leadership / Outdoor Skills / Performing Arts / Pets & Companion Animals / Photography / Shooting Sports - Shotgun)


NEW THIS YEAR:
Livestock Projects - require enrolling in Lafayette 4-H Livestock Club or School FFA Club as a Secondary Club. The following projects will only be available in those clubs: (Beef Cattle / Dairy Cattle / Goats-Meat / Horse / Poultry / Rabbits / Sheep / Swine)


Members enrolling in a project for the first time should select the project from the list in 4-H Online that corresponds to their current grade. Members who are enrolling in the project for a 2nd or 3rd year and already have the project book will need to select the general project area to indicate that they do not need a new book. If the project book title has a range of grades (ex. 7th-9th grade) this is meant to be a 3-year project book.

Foundation Golf Tournament - Registration Now OPEN

Our 21st annual Foundation Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 7th at Oakbourne Country Club. This one fills up fast and is one of our most popular events! Open link below to learn more!

STM Shoot for the Cougars Scheduled

St. Thomas More Wrestling and St. Thomas More Shooting Sports are joining together once again to host the "Shoot for the Cougars" sporting clay shoot and "Cookin' for the Cougars" anything over rice cook-off fundraisers on October 19th at Wilderness Gun Club in Lafayette.
